Type of active courses: the new system foresees first and second level Academic Diploma Courses, specialization courses, research training courses, specialization courses or masters courses.

• n. 31 First Level Academic Diploma Courses and related Basic pre-academic and preparatory training courses of: Electric Bass, Pop-Rock Electric Bass, Tuba Bass, Jazz Drums and Percussion, Pop-Rock Drums and Percussion, (Lyrical) Singing, Jazz Singing, Pop-Rock Singing, Guitar, Jazz Guitar, Pop-Rock Guitar, Clarinet, Double Bass, Horn, Euphonium, Bassoon, Flute, Oboe, Piano, Jazz Piano, Piano and Electronic Keyboards Pop Rock, Saxophone, Jazz Saxophone, Wind Orchestra Instrumentation, Percussion Instruments, Trumpet, Jazz Trumpet, Trombone, Viola, Violin and Cello.

Starting from the A.Y. 2018/19, the Basic First Level Courses in the field of Recurrent and Continuing Education (FREP) have been established in line with the ministerial guidelines, and pursuant to Legislative Decree 60/17 and the related Ministerial Decree 382, the Preparatory Courses of a maximum duration of three years preparatory for entry to all First Level AFAM Courses.Among the priority objectives: eaching and artistic production with particular attention to the artistic / professional training of the students through concert production initiatives, competitions, workshops, masters, seminars, scholarships in collaboration with other organizations, foundations, associations, AFAM institutions and especially with FEMURS(Regional Music Federation with Trapani and Messina Conservatories) school-work continuity mediante l’istituzione di convenzioni e intese con altri Enti (Teatri, Associazioni, Sedi convenzionate, Enti territoriali) al fine di favorire l’inserimento dei nostri studenti nel mondo del lavoro e della produzione artistica; la diffusione della cultura musicale mediante intese, convenzioni, collaborazioni con le tante Istituzioni Scolastiche ad indirizzo musicale e non del Territorio, nonché svariate attività formative finalizzate alla formazione permanente e ricorrente; the dissemination ofmusical culture through agreements, conventions, collaborations with the many educational institutions with a musical and non-territorial orientation, as well as various training activities aimed at ongoing and recurrent training; the internationalization of teaching and artistic activity through a lot of important international partnerships, supplemented by the most recent agreements with the Windsor Piano Academy in London and the State Conservatory of Petrozavodsk (Russian Federation), with which to strengthen the collaboration for Masterclass, Competitions and events, with mobility study and for traineeship students and Outgoing and Incoming teachers, in the latter case as already implemented with the Klaipeda University of Vilnius, the Valencia Conservatory and Tangsham Chinese University.
