Sezione C – Gestione Testi

C1 – Obiettivi Formativi
Al conseguimento del titolo i Diplomati Accademici di II livello in CLARINETTO avranno conseguito: • personalità artistica e elevato livello professionale che consente loro di realizzare ed esprimere i propri concetti artistici; • una buona conoscenza di stili e tecniche strumentali/interpretative ad essi relative, del repertorio storico come contemporaneo tale da consentire loro di prodursi in una vasta gamma di contesti differenti; • capacità: o di interpretare con una cifra distintiva e personale musiche del repertorio storico come contemporaneo; o di fornire adeguatamente il proprio apporto con professionalità artistica sia in qualità di solista, che in gruppi cameristici e in compagini orchestrali; o di sviluppare ulteriormente e autonomamente le proprie tendenze estetiche in una particolare area di specializzazione; o di relazionare le conoscenze con abilità pratiche per rafforzare il proprio sviluppo artistico; o di rappresentare per iscritto come verbalmente i propri concetti artistici; o di intraprendere in modo organizzato progetti artistici in contesti nuovi o sconosciuti, anche in staff con esperti di altre aree artistiche, nel contesto del teatro musicale o del mondo produttivo. • facoltativamente tra le materie a scelta, i 24 CFA indispensabili per la partecipazione al Concorso per l’insegnamento nelle Scuole; • adeguate tecniche di controllo posturale ed emozionale; • adeguate competenze nel campo dell’informatica musicale nonché quelle relative ad una seconda lingua comunitaria.
C2 – Prova Finale
Disciplinata dall’art. 11 del Regolamento didattico dei Corsi: 1.La prova finale ha la funzione di mettere in luce le competenze del candidato acquisite durante il corso. Lo studente è ammesso a sostenere la prova finale dopo avere maturato tutti gli altri crediti del proprio percorso formativo. 2. Se la prova finale riguarda una materia teorica o teorico-tecnica, l’elaborato (tesi scritta, supporto multi-mediale, ecc…) deve essere consegnato all’ Ufficio didattico almeno 20 giorni prima dell’esame, in quattro copie di cui almeno una controfirmata dai docenti relatori. 3. Se la prova finale è costituita da un’esecuzione musicale, il programma dell’esecuzione controfirmato dai docenti relatori deve essere consegnato all’ Ufficio didattico almeno 20 giorni prima dell’esame. 4. I docenti relatori devono essere titolari della materia afferente l’area disciplinare scelta per la prova finale in servizio presso l’Istituto ovvero esperti anche esterni. In caso di lavori a carattere multidisciplinare può essere prevista la partecipazione di uno o più correlatori anche esterni. 5. La Commissione della prova finale è formata da un numero dispari (almeno cinque) di docenti in servizio anche a contratto. Possono far parte della commissione anche esperti esterni all’ Istituto. La Commissione è presieduta dal Direttore o da un suo delegato, e deve comprendere il docente dell’area disciplinare scelta per la prova finale (relatore) e da almeno un docente di riferimento della Scuola frequentata. Le Commissioni sono costituite con decreto del Direttore, assicurando una trasversalità di rappresentanza ai diversi Dipartimenti. 6. Il voto finale non può essere inferiore alla media ponderata, rapportata a centodecimi, delle votazioni conseguite nell’intero percorso, con la seguente distribuzione: a) attività formative di base 10% b) attività formative caratterizzanti 80% c) attività formative affini o integrative d) attività formative a scelta e/o ulteriori 10% (c + d) Il calcolo della media tiene conto esclusivamente delle valutazioni espresse con votazione. La media ponderata dei voti può essere integrata dalla Commissione per un punteggio non superiore a 6/110. La Lode può essere conferita solo con giudizio unanime della predetta Commissione
C3 – Prospettive occupazionali
Il corso offre allo studente possibilità di impiego nei seguenti ambiti: – Strumentista solista – Strumentista in gruppi da camera – Strumentista in formazioni orchestrali da camera – Strumentista in formazioni orchestrali sinfoniche – Strumentista in formazioni orchestrali per il teatro musicale -Strumentista in formazioni orchestrali a fiato. – Docente di Clarinetto e di Musica d’insieme
C4 – Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione (knowledge and understanding)
I diplomati devono aver dimostrato conoscenze e capacità di comprensione che estendono e/o rafforzano quelle tipicamente associate al primo ciclo e consentono di elaborare e/o applicare idee originali, spesso in un contesto di ricerca.
C5 – Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione (applying knowledge and understanding)
I diplomati devono essere capaci di applicare le loro conoscenze, capacità di comprensione e abilità nel risolvere problemi a tematiche nuove o non familiari, inserite in contesti più ampi (o interdisciplinari) connessi al proprio settore di studio.
C6 – Autonomia di giudizio (making judgements)
I diplomati devono avere la capacità di integrare le conoscenze e gestire la complessità, nonché di formulare giudizi sulla base di informazioni limitate o incomplete, includendo la riflessione sulle responsabilità sociali ed etiche collegate all’applicazione delle loro conoscenze e giudizi.
C7 – Abilità comunicative (communication skills)
I diplomati devono essere saper comunicare in modo chiaro e privo di ambiguità le loro conclusioni, nonché le conoscenze e la ratio ad esse sottese, a interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti.

Training Objectives.

Qualifications and skills required for entry

Possesso di laurea o di diploma accademico di primo livello, o di diploma di Conservatorio unitamente a un diploma di scuola secondaria superiore, ovvero di altro titolo di studio conseguito all’estero, riconosciuto idoneo. Occorre altresì che la preparazione acquisita sia coerente e adeguata al corso di secondo livello. Possono chiedere l’ammissione condizionata i candidati che prevedono di conseguire i titoli richiesti entro la sessione di febbraio-marzo dell’anno accademico di riferimento.

Entrance Examination

Eventuale preselezione: esecuzione di un brano a scelta del candidato di durata max 10′.
Prova pratica (la Commissione ha facoltà di ascoltare tutto o parte del programma presentato): esecuzione, preferibilmente a memoria, di un programma solistico da concerto a scelta del candidato della durata di 30 minuti circa, di difficoltà coerente o superiore a quello presentato per l’esame di Diploma Accademico di 1° livello, comprendente composizioni di periodi storici differenti. Il candidato può inserire nel suddetto programma una composizione per ensemble cameristico.
Prova di lettura: esecuzione estemporanea di un brano assegnato dalla Commissione (tempo massimo concesso prima dell’esecuzione: 2 volte la durata del brano).
Prova orale: il colloquio verterà sul percorso formativo già intrapreso e sugli eventuali orientamenti professionali già emersi durante gli ultimi anni di formazione in particolare riferimento agli interessi dello specifico indirizzo.
Valutazione del curriculum del candidato.

Caratteristiche della prova finale:

Programma libero da concerto, non coincidente con altro programma eseguito interamente in esami precedenti, di 30 minuti circa, da solista con accompagnamento strumentale o orchestrale.

First year

Analysis Methodologies

Course year: 1 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility test.

Exam program:
Discussion of a written paper concerning the analysis of a work belonging to the solo repertoire, with piano or orchestra of the instrument studied, to be agreed with the teacher during the lessons. In this paper, to be delivered to the Secretariat at least five days before the exam, the student must make direct reference to the methodologies and topics covered by the teacher during the lessons. The student will also be required to respond orally on the entire program carried out in class.

Prassi esecutive e repertori 1 (Solistico e per Clarinetto e orchestra)

Course year: 1 – Credits: 12 – Hours of lessons: 30 – Individual lesson – Form of assessment: Exam.Exam program:
Performance, preferably from memory, of a concert program of the solo repertoire, agreed with the teacher, of at least 30 minutes including works from the classical and romantic periods, as well as at least one movement of a concerto for clarinet and orchestra taken from the aforementioned periods.

Prassi esecutive e repertori 1 (per Clarinetto e pianoforte)

Course year: 1 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 15 – Individual lesson – Form of assessment: Exam.
Exam program:
Performance of a concert program, agreed with the teacher, of at least 25 minutes including a sonata from the Baroque to the Classical period.

Musica da camera 1

Course year: 1 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 20 – Group lesson – Form of assessment: Exam.

Exam program:
Performance of a program approved by the teacher lasting not less than 15 minutes, including a minimum of two compositions from different historical periods. The program may include transcriptions only and exclusively in the absence of original repertoire.
The execution of the program can be integrated through a multimedia thesis (production of an audio or audiovisual recording) agreed with the Professor and delivered to the Teaching Office within ten days before the exam. This supplement must be considered optional, in addition to the minutes provided for the exam.
The candidate, for the formation of the chamber group, must make use of students within the Institute who also attend other classes and, in case of impossibility, also of any external collaborators of his trust and at his own expense.

Musica d’insieme per fiati 1

Course year: 1 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 20 – Group lesson – Form of assessment: Eligibility check.

Study program:
From the wind literature of the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Modern and Contemporary periods, compositions, originals or arrangements, useful for an adequate training course of the student, will be identified. In the presence of particular needs, the choice will be adapted to the various needs with the use of less frequented pieces and with the introduction of mixed ensembles, homogeneous groups, small instrumental groups to deal with the most significant literature for each instrument. The study program will be agreed between teachers and students especially on the basis of possible staff. For educational needs, pieces that also include other instruments besides winds such as piano, organ, percussion, etc., can also be included in the program.
The form of verification will be established by the teacher.

Formazione orchestrale 1

Course year: 1 – Credits: 3 – Hours of lessons: 30 – Laboratory – Form of assessment: Eligibility check.

Study program:
Study of works for orchestra taken from the Baroque to the Contemporary repertoire as well as instrumental technique and performance practice for the acquisition of artistic and professional skills in the orchestral field.
The form of verification will be established by the teacher.

Techniques of expression and body awareness

Course year: 1 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of assessment: Exam.

Exam syllabus:

The exams will be carried out with the presentation, individual or collective, of a creation/improvisation of a vocal/musical movement which will then have to be argued from the mental genesis to its realization and motivate it in expressive details taking into account rhythm, movement and thought. The presentation may also be illustrated by a paper on the topics developed.

Lingua straniera comunitaria – Lingua inglese 1

Course year: 1 – Credits: 3 – Hours of lessons: 25 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.

Program:
The study program will be established by the teacher following an accurate student placement test and will be preparatory to the acquisition of the B1 level of English.
The form of final assessment will be established by the teacher and will cover the following language skills: Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing.

Second year

Musical Semiography

Course year: 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.

Exam program:
Written test:
Resolution of ancient and modern particular musical semiographic signs, appropriately described, also with traditional musical graphic examples in a maximum time of 30 minutes.
Oral exam:
Disquisition on the history of semiography from its origins to the present day, with particular reference to the development of instrumental musical writing. The test will be related to the instrument characterizing the course chosen by the candidate.

Prassi esecutive e repertori 2 (Solistico e per Clarinetto e orchestra)

Course year: 2 – Credits: 12 – Hours of lessons: 30 – Individual lesson – Form of assessment: Exam. Prerequisites: Performance practices and repertoires (Solo and for Clarinet and orchestra I)

Exam program:
Performance preferably from memory of a concert program of the solo repertoire, agreed with the teacher, of at least 40 minutes including works from the late Romantic period to the contemporary as well as at least one movement of a concerto for clarinet and orchestra taken from the aforementioned periods.

Prassi esecutive e repertori 2 (per Clarinetto e pianoforte)

Course year: 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 15 – Individual lesson – Form of assessment: Exam. Prerequisites: Performance practices and repertoires (for clarinet and piano I)

Exam program:
Performance of a concert program, agreed with the teacher, of at least 35 minutes including a sonata from the romantic to the contemporary period.

Musica da camera 2

Course year: 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 20 – Group lesson – Form of assessment: Exam. Prerequisites: Chamber Music I

Exam program:
Performance of a program approved by the teacher lasting not less than 15 minutes, including a minimum of two compositions from different historical periods, which is different from the one presented for the exam of “Chamber Music I”. The program may include transcriptions only and exclusively in the absence of original repertoire.
The execution of the program can be integrated through a multimedia thesis (production of an audio or audiovisual recording) agreed with the Professor and delivered to the Teaching Office within ten days before the exam.

This supplement must be considered optional, in addition to the minutes provided for the exam.
The candidate, for the formation of the chamber group, must make use of students within the Institute who also attend other classes and, in case of impossibility, also of any external collaborators of his trust and at his own expense.

Musica d’insieme per fiati 2

Course year: 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 20 – Group lesson – Form of assessment: Exam. Prerequisites: Ensemble music for winds I

Exam syllabus:

Test 1) Performance of an important composition of the repertoire for wind ensemble. Alternatively, at least two significant pieces or tempos from different styles and historical periods.

Test 2) Concertation and performance of a time of an ensemble composition of medium difficulty chosen and assigned by the commission 24 hours before the exam. Alternatively, concertation of a particularly demanding and significant composition addressed in the study program.

Test 3) Hints of formal analysis of the scores addressed and discussion on the problems of the compositions performed.

Formazione orchestrale 2

Course year: 2 – Credits: 3 – Hours of lessons: 30 – Laboratory – Form of verification: Verification of suitability. Prerequisites: Orchestral formation I

Study of works for orchestra taken from the Baroque to the Contemporary repertoire as well as instrumental technique and performance practice for the acquisition of artistic and professional skills in the orchestral field.
The form of verification will be established by the teacher.

Music Informatics

Course year: 2 – Credits: 3 – Hours of lessons: 15 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.
At the end of the scheduled teaching hours, the teacher will express the judgment of suitability based on the verification, for each student, of attendance,

the performance of the theoretical and/or practical work, both collective and individual, required, the achievement of the set educational objectives.

Lingua straniera comunitaria – Lingua inglese 2

Course year: 2 – Credits: 3 – Hours of lessons: 25 – Group lesson – Form of assessment: Exam. Prerequisites: EU Foreign Language I (English Language I)

Study program:
Review of the grammatical structures of the first year;
The study program will be established by the teacher, will include the revision of the grammatical structures of the first year and will be preparatory to the acquisition of the B2 level of English.

Exam program:
Students will be tested on their skills and ability to take part in different types of interaction with the teacher with particular regard to the musical discipline.
The final exam form will be established by the teacher and will cover the following language skills: Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing It will also understand the main points of a specific written question with various exercises (Quizlet: written questions, terms to be combined, multiple choice questions and true/false questions) of both Classical and Jazz Music Terminology, after acquiring knowledge of the Glossary of Terminology and specialized musical definitions.

Final exam

Course year: 2 – Credits: 9 – Hours of lessons: – – Form of assessment: Exam
Exam program:
Free concert program, not coinciding with another program performed entirely in previous exams, of about 30 minutes, as a soloist with instrumental or orchestral accompaniment

Subjects chosen by the student

History of costume and scenography

Course year: 1 or 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.

Test:
Presentation of a written paper on one or more topics covered during the course and concerning the history of entertainment, styles, costume, staging, furniture and theatrical make-up with particular reference to Opera and other forms of musical performance. The test must reveal the deepening of the notions acquired.

EU foreign language: German language

Course year: 1 or 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.

Test:
Written tests and/or questions and/or oral interview, or on the basis of appropriate certification presented, that the level of knowledge of the language acquired by the candidate is appropriate for the year.

Music Psychology

Methodology of historical-musical investigation

Practice of ornamentation

Verification:
Present a short composition of your choice, taken from the instrumental baroque repertoire with reference to the candidate’s basic instrument, in particular a piece from Suites, Sonatas, Pieces, which presents a varied wealth of embellishments.
Extemporaneously perform a piece already adorned with embellishments, chosen by the teacher, for instrument (keyboards in general, bow, breath, pluck, etc.). To quibble about the ornamental stylistic diversity of French, German and Italian Baroque composers.

Fundamentals of composition

Program:
The composition of simple and figurative Chorales, as well as short pieces in ternary form and/or sonata-form for chamber ensembles to be agreed with the teacher at the beginning of the lessons, is aimed at developing compositional skills useful for a greater understanding of the artistic articulation of tonal language.

At the end of the scheduled teaching hours, the teacher will express the judgment of suitability based on the verification, for each student, of attendance, of the performance of the theoretical and/or practical work, both collective and individual, required, of the achievement of the set educational objectives.

Reading the score

Program:
Performing on the piano in extemporaneous a piece written in the ancient keys, transporting a piece to the piano a tone above or a tone below, performing and intoning an ancient aria at first sight. The aforementioned pieces and the ancient aria will be assigned by the teacher.

At the end of the scheduled teaching hours, the teacher will express the judgment of suitability also on the basis of the verification, for each student, of attendance, of the performance of the theoretical and/or practical work, both collective and individual, required, of the achievement of the set educational objectives.

Conducting instrumental and vocal groups

Course year: 1 or 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.

Verification:
Practical test – Demonstrate that you have learned the basic conducting technique and gestures – in relation to tempo, agogic, phrasing, breathing and crowns – by conducting the main simple and composed measures with the help of a chamber ensemble (instrumental and/or vocal) and/or a collaborating pianist.
Theory test – Discuss the topics covered during the course: historical elements on orchestral conducting; the relationship between the soloist and the conductor in the work of analysis and concertation of the score; the figure of the solo conductor in the concert repertoire; Notes on concertation in ensemble music.

Processing, transcription and arrangement

Course year: 1 or 2 – Credits: 6 – Hours of lessons: 36 – Group lesson – Form of verification: Eligibility check.

Program:
At the beginning of the lessons, the transcription will be agreed with the teacher, to be carried out with a guided work in class, of two pieces (one for solo instrument to be transcribed for chamber ensemble and the other for chamber ensemble to be reduced for solo instrument) that are of general interest to the group of attending students.
